The Oxford Parent Teacher Organization is a local charitable organization in Oxford, Connecticut and is dedicated to the enrichment and nurturing of a close relationship between the parents, teachers, and the students by advancing opportunities in the school, home, and the community of Oxford.
We have a focused goal of providing educational enhancements, including, but not limited to programs, which benefit the majority of the student body and are not normally provided by the Board of Education.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
If you are a parent and would like to know how to better protect your children online, we have the solution. The Oxford P.T.O. and Board of Education are sponsoring a 50 minute presentation that better equip parents for the digital world.
We will start with a 20 minute live demo of the latest trending websites and apps for children, and our team will show you many of the digital cultures on the web. Following the 20 minute demo will be a panel representing law enforcement, children advocates, the courts, and the schools. The panel will be glad to answer any questions you might have, so don’t miss it!
