Register your Stop & Shop
for the A + Program
What It Is
With A+ BonusBucks, points accrue with each purchase where the Stop & Shop Card is used. It even works with purchases made online with Peapod by Stop & Shop. At the end of each month, these points determine your school's cash total which is automatically credited to its account and school totals updated each month. (Please note: Gift cards (excluding store brand gift cards), pharmacy, alcohol and/or cigarette purchases are excluded from accruing points.)
How It Works
A+ BonusBucks are rounded per transaction to the nearest whole dollar amount. At the end of each month, each school's dollar amount is determined which is then automatically credited directly to the school's account.

Hello PTO Members,
Welcome to the 2011-2012 School Year. This is my 2nd year as your PTO Fundraising Coordinator and I have some fun and new fundraisers for this upcoming school year!
Thank you to all that contributed in donations, purchasing, VOLUNTEERING and all your support, it was a great year and I'm looking forward to another great year !!
Our Fall Fundraiser will begin this Thursday and run for 2 weeks.
"Believe Kids" Pick up will be this Tuesday and Wednesday (Nov 15-16th) in the foyer by the gym from 5:30 to 7pm at QFS Also if anyone is interested in helping out during these days, that would be greatly appreciated.
The Oxford PTO is enrolled in a scrip program where major retailers offer their gift cards to non-profit organizations at a discount and we keep the difference between the retail price and the discounted price. With the holidays coming, gift cards make great gifts for clients, customers, friends and family.
You can order online at www.shopwithscrip.com and please use code : 23B57EDL2773L. This will be shipped to me and I will get them to you; unfortunately there is no direct ship from this company.
2012 Entertainment Saving Book – New Haven County
This is being run at QFS, OCS & GOMS, your child will be bringing the book home this Thursday/ Friday. The cost of the book is $30. If you are interested in additional counties, there is an order form with the book.
We also have 2 ongoing fundraisers that you participate are your leisure:
Box Tops this year will be an essential part of our fundraising. It is easy and costs NO MONEY but brings in lots of school dollars. We have always participated in Box Tops and last year a position was specially created to help bring our activity to a higher level. We are looking for your support so................... cut, save, and send to school in an envelope marked "Box Tops- Oxford PTO".
Also planned for this upcoming year of fundraising include, a Walk-A-Thon, Cookie Dough, Clothing Drive, Holiday Bizarre w/, Poinsettia's Sale, Valentine’s Day Candy Flower Sale, Bingo, Yankee Candle, Gertrude Chocolate, Honey Hams and Oxford apparel – sweatshirts/t-shirts. We have something for everyone. As the year goes on we could add or remove some of the above mentioned. If you have a suggestion for a fundraiser please let me know.
Information on fundraising can be found on the Oxford PTO website http://www.oxfordctpto.org
Please keep in mind that the purpose of the Oxford PTO fundraising is to help offset or pay the entire cost of educational enrichment programs, events, and field trips that benefit and support the students of Quaker Farms, Oxford Center, and Great Oak Schools. Our efforts help eliminate or reduce the parent’s cost towards these programs. Please review our website for past programs that have in the past been supported by the Oxford PTO.
A final note, please remember that there are several fundraisers that are run throughout the year. Please help with the ones that interest you. You are certainly not obligated to participate in every fundraiser and if you wish to make a straight donation, that is welcome as well.
Feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, or suggestions.
Thank you all for your time and
most of all Thank you for your continued support of the Oxford PTO!

Target's "Take Charge of Education"
HELP US HELP OUR SCHOOL.
Did you know there's an easy way to help us raise money for our school--for library books, band uniforms, reading programs and anything else that can use extra funding? It's called Take Charge of Education, and it's helping our school right now.
Here's how it works: Visit Target.com/tcoe or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school, then use your REDcard whenever you shop. When you use your REDcardSM (Target® Visa® Credit Card, Target Credit Card® or Target Check Card®), Target will donate up to 1% of your purchases to the eligible K-12 school of your choice.*
Don't have a REDcard? It's easy to apply. Get started in person at any Target store or go to Target.com/redcard.
Grandparents, alumni, friends and neighbors are all welcome to participate in the program. The more people we involve, the more the program works for our school. If you're already participating, thank you! Check out our school's progress anytime at Target.com/tcoe.
